Bunny Hop

For Easter this year, we did our normal tradition of eating lots of chocolate, seeing family, eating some chocolate, having an egg hunt, and eating more chocolate. So I of course had to get all dressed up for the occasion.

Here I am with my cousins Abigail and Cassidy, or the cheerleader and princess respectively. How cute are we? And how good am I at the classic "sweet little girl" pose?!

Here I am with Cassidy just before the egg hunt. Can you tell we were just a tad excited?

In the afternoon, we went up to 'Mecula and I served the traditional Easter dinner of McDonald's. That's what everyone has for Easter dinner, right?

After dinner, Dad decided to give me some surfing lessons. I'm really good. I'm pretty sure Billabong or Roxy will be calling any day. So what if I don't go in the ocean?

And of course, I had to end the day with some cleaning. Mom wonders what she has to do to get me to clean the bathrooms at home. It's easy really, just pay me in M&Ms. Duh.

Beach Bunny!

This past weekend was pretty hot, so you know what that means! The first beach trip of the season.

I love going to the beach almost as much as going to the park, and that is saying a lot.

I'm getting to be a pro at making sand castles. I'm way better than Dad. Just saying.

When it comes time to go in the water, I still prefer this water to all that other water. But it was only the first trip, so maybe as the summer goes on, I'll venture out a little more. But maybe not. You really never know. My mysterious ways are part of my intrigue.

Also a part of my intrigue? My magical abilities. I bet you didn't know I could move sand shovels using only the power of my mind. I'm very talented.

Wedding Bells

This past weekend my cousin John got married! I've decided I love weddings. All the dresses and presents and food and dancing...it makes for a great time. Not to mention the opportunity to sit by a fountain and ponder the beauty of true love.

Here I am with Auntie Heather, cousin John's mom. After the wedding was over, I got to pose for some pics with her, and you know how I love a good photo op.

This is cousin Sadie, John's sister. Sadie may have cried just a wee bit during the ceremony, but no one could even tell. Really.

This is one of my BFFs and cousin once removed or something like that, Mikey. We had a great time playing after the wedding, and even allowed some time for pictures. Generous of us, considering that there was a park there.

Here are all us kids at the park at the reception. Let's see, the park or dinner and dancing? Not even a question! Duh.

Inflatable World

This week Mom and Dad took me to the big inflatable bouncy castle place so that I could blow off a little steam. After a long week in preschool, a girl just needs to unwind, you know?

Mom likes this picture because it looks like I'm a superhero ready to take off and save the day. But duh, doesn't she know the second rule of Superhero Club is never take flight in public? The first rule, of course, is to never talk about Superhero Club.

They had lots of these giant slides, and I went down exactly one of them before I declared them too fast and of no interest to me.

And so I spent the rest of the day more or less in this position (hey, I may not be the most coordinated of kids, but at least I know how to have fun!):
