Staying healthy

Hi everyone! I just wanted to stress to you all the importance of exercise in order to stay healthy. Now remember, before you start exercising, it's really important to stretch out. I find this upside-down maneuver to be quite effective.

Getting in some good cardio is a great form of exercise. For me, I prefer to get my cardio through jumping jacks. I have great form, if I do say so myself.

I also exercise my musical ability whenever I am able. If my dreams of owning a light bulb shop don't pan out for me, I may decide to be a world-renowned flautist. I'm already so good, I think it would be a travesty to keep my talent from the world.

Along with exercising your body and your musical talent, it's very important to exercise one's mind. I find that I do some of my best introspection on a swing. It reminds me to look forward to the future, and to remember the past. And look to the future, and remember the past. You get the idea.

When you're done with all that exercising, don't forget to take some time to cool down. Preferably under a tree at the park.

Busy, busy

I have had such a busy week. It's tough being a kid. It's a job that I take very seriously. Even playing dress-up with my fancy pearl and crystal necklace is no laughing matter.

Oh, all right. Sometimes dress-up can be a laughing matter. Especially when I'm wearing my awesome sunglasses.

I really love my fancy necklace. I pretty much wore it all weekend. Until I tried to take it off too quick and my hair got caught in the elastic. I'm not quite sure how that happened since my hair is always so smooth and tame.

Sometimes I like to use my old Halloween costume for my dress-up games. Even though it's a bit tight because it's been a while since Halloween. Getting this costume off again was the most interesting part of the whole dress-up experience. And by interesting, I mean scream-inducing.

Since I was in my Minnie costume, I was in the mood for a little Disney. Dad should know by now that Donald Duck is way more awesome than Mickey. I still have so much to teach him.

Hodge Podge

Hi again! Mom was fascinated with this curl on my head. It makes her think of that poem: "There was a little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead...." Just ignore the rest of the poem though, because the end part certainly isn't about me.

The other day I was taking a ridiculously long nap, so Dad thought he better check on me. When he came in, this is what he found. It's really comfortable, actually.

I got a new Tinkerbell doll to match my Tinkerbell shirt! Can you tell that I like her a little bit?

This is my buddy Jake. He's awfully cute, isn't he? Our moms got together and instead of just letting us play, they made us do laundry. Slave labor, I tell you.

I went with Grammy, Auntie and Mom to paint ceramics the other day. Here I am painting my kitty. It's awesome, right?! I'm incredibly talented. You may not see many blue and purple cats in nature, but I'm abstract like that.

Fishy, very fishy

I know, I know, it's either Disneyland or Sea World around this place, right? But this Sea World trip was special! Mom and Grandpa took me this weekend, and I went and watched the Shamu show for the first time!

I was so excited when we got there that I even agreed to ride in the stroller. Big of me, I know.

First we visited all my usual haunts. I was here running around the block pit when I saw my cousin John. He's awesome. But Mom was so surprised to see him she didn't take my picture with him. Real nice Mom!

We rode the Abby Cadabby ride, too. Mom was a little green when we got off this one. She was wearing a green shirt, so maybe she was just trying to color coordinate.

But the best part, hands down, was seeing the Shamu show! Here, I'll point him out to you in case you can't see him. He's right there. There's this one part where you do this cool hand motion and yell Shamu! Shamu! really loud and then he splashes the whole audience with his tail. I've been doing the routine all week, but haven't seen any splashing. I'll keep trying.

It was a good day.
