Weekend fun!

I had such a great weekend, I had to share it with you all. First, I decided I wanted to be a princess just like Abby, so I had to have my own pretty dress and my own wand, and of course, my Minnie Mouse ears. Because every princess has mouse ears. Duh. And, like every good princess, I refuse to have my picture taken. You never know what tabloid it will end up in.

You can see that I even wore my princess outfit to the mall. I was gracious with all my subjects, who wanted autographs and pictures. At least, that's what I assume they wanted. Most of them just stared at me like this little guy. I'm sure it had nothing to do with my mouse ears.

My other exciting news for the weekend is that Auntie Tori got me an awesome train set! You can always tell when I'm really excited because I bust out my goofy smile.

Oh! I forgot to throw the switch on the tracks and now two of my trains are hurtling towards each other!

I can't watch. Tell me when it's over, okay?

It was a great weekend. And don't forget to come back for next week's post, because we're going to Disneyland! Again! I never get tired of that place.

Feeling Better

I am finally feeling better this week, though I'm still taking it easy and just relaxing with a good book.

Mom and Dad were so happy that I felt better, they wanted to take pictures with me to commemorate the occasion. This is what really shows that I'm not sick anymore...because when I feel good, I certainly don't have time to smile for the camera.

Not even for Mom, who we all know loves pictures so much.

But if you ask me to smile for a picture with Auntie, not only will I smile, I'll even show you how I can roar like a lion. Because I love Auntie that much.

Even though I was getting better, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't passing my germs on to everyone, so I voluntarily locked myself into jail, aka Lexie's crate. I'm selfless like that.

While I was in jail, I passed the time by reciting my favorite book, The Cat in the Hat. That, and marking off the days by scratching the tally on the walls of my cell.

Sickly

This week I have been a little under the weather. So I'm a little short on pictures since I've been spending most of my days like this:

To fill the void the lack of pictures has left, I've decided to share a photo essay with you that I call "Opening the door to the future."

You can see that I anxiously awaiting the knowledge of who is on the other side of the door.

And when I see that it's Dad, I'm thrilled!

Now here's the future part...give me a few years and THIS is what I'll look like when Mom and Dad knock on my door.

Hopefully by next week I'll be back to feeling like this:

Girl time

This weekend Dad was out of town to visit Uncle Jeff in Washington, so Mom and I had a girl bonding weekend. It was awesome. We got to do things like make wishes in the fountain while making silly faces. I'm the best at silly faces. See below for proof.

We also spent some time doing what Mom does best...shopping! I especially loved trying on all the hats. I'm sure the salespeople loved it too.

I especially liked this one, it really brought out the colors in my outfit, not to mention how flattering it is to my haircut and skin tone. I know the store is going to ask me to come model it in their window displays, because who wouldn't buy this hat after seeing it on me?

I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with this one. It just doesn't do anything for me.

As much fun as I had with Mom, I sure was glad when Dad got home!

When he was gone, I could "bearly" sleep. Get it? Bearly. Did you see what I did there? Man, I'm hilarious!
