Driving Miss Mads-y

Has it been another week already?! I am having the best time playing outside this summer. I even help Mom and Dad set up their chairs. They need a lot of help, those two. I don't know how they got by without me.

This is one of those pictures where I'm not even doing anything, but Mom just thinks it's pretty cute. I'll try to get her to cut down on these ones. For crying out loud, Mom, you're SO embarrassing!

Oh hey, what's that on my arm? I've never seen that there before.

My Auntie got me this awesome car behind me. I love it. It's nice to just go for a drive and let the wind blow through your hair, and relax with some tunes on the stereo.

Okay, I'm all ready to hit the open road!

Enough with the cameras

Hello? Is anyone in there?!

This week, my Mom and Dad took me to Sea World! It was awesome. I saw the sea lions. I held my hand out to them and they went insane. It's either because I'm so cute, or they thought I had a fish. I'm leading towards the former.

Sea World has this really cool playground now, with lots to do for kids my size. I especially loved climbing up this puffy little hill.

Sometimes I still needed Mom to help me a little bit. But just to get to the really high parts.

There was also this big area with giant blocks for me to stack. I was a little nervous about going out with the other kids, so I stuck close to Mom and Dad. I even got Dad to go get my blocks for me. Around my little finger people, I'm telling you.

Mom thought it would be fun to get a little video of me with the giant blocks. But just wait till the end when I realize she's got that camera pointed at me again! I'm a little bit over that whole camera thing.

Guest spot

Hi everyone! This week, my Dad is at a work conference (I miss you Daddy!) and he took the computer with him. You know, the one with all my pictures on it. So I had to search far and wide for a willing guest photographer, so as not to leave my blog photo-less. My Grammy stepped up and took some great shots for you all. Like this one:

Grammy's a pretty good photographer, huh? She can even catch the action shots, because let me tell you, I was going to fast on this thing that I should have just been a blur.

Sometimes I like to give Elmo a bath on the coffee table, and I have to make sure his nose is clean. But don't worry, Elmo doesn't get embarrassed bathing out here, because he pretty much never wears clothes any way.

Okay, now you're just freaking me out. Elmo's taking a bath on the coffee table, AND he's in Elmo's world?! How exactly does that work??

So I guess some people have questioned the fact that Mom never seems to show up around here. That's because she's usually the one BEHIND the camera. But since it was Guest Photographer Week, I convinced her to stop by.

Garages and Bathing Suits

Hey there. Sometimes I like just hanging out in the garage in my bathing suit. What's wrong with that?

Mom and Dad told me we were going to the beach and then they took me to the bay instead. They think they are so clever. I obviously voiced my outrage, I couldn't even use my bucket!

You call this sand? I really hope those people don't try this switcharoo again. I'm on to you Mom and Dad.

So I was thinking that maybe I wanted to be a rock star singer when I grow up a little more. That seems fun. Wait, what? You aren't supposed to eat the microphone?!

Well here's what I say to that job then:
