Frisbee

I decided since it had been awhile since I took Mom and Dad to the park, and since they've been so good lately, I would reward them by letting them come to the park with me. We went to the "little park" which is one of my faves. It has these lightposts that are pretty tall. I'm almost as tall as them. Won't be long now.

Dad is always asking me to show him my muscles, so I figured it was time for him to show me how strong he is. What better way to prove your strength than by throwing little girls in the air. We used to call this game "Twenty-five pounds" since that was how much I weighed. I weigh a bit more than that now, but Dad can still get me pretty high.

Here I am on the swings. I'm really going to have to talk to Mom about the quality of her picture taking lately. It's really slipping. I dread having these talks with my employees, but when they start slacking off, what can you do?

I also got a brand new frisbee this week! I love it so much I like to give it hugs and bring it everywhere I go.

Here I am in action with my new frisbee. You can see from the first couple of throws that I thought Mom and Dad got me a defective one, but it turned out okay. And I always take a bow when I catch a frisbee, don't you?

Catch!

I decided it was time that I dress up in my full princess gear and go outside to play with my subjects. The first subject I saw bowed appropriately so I gave her a hug. It's funny that none of my other subjects seem to do that. They must not realize they are in the presence of royalty.

Because seeing royalty can be so out of the ordinary, I try to do "normal" things so that my subjects don't feel intimidated. I played some catch with this very nice peasant named Daddy.

I even gave him some training on how to head the ball. But then that started to mess up my royal hairdo, so I didn't do that for very long.

I don't like to show off my true skills very often, you know, trying to be on the same level as my subjects and everything, but I just had to show this Daddy person how I am so talented I can even catch the ball with my eyes closed. He was duly impressed.

After enough begging by the peasants, I finally gave in and gave the people what they wanted - a song. Because I am an AWESOME singer. You might even say a singer fit for royalty. Here is my very own rendition of Bare Necessities for your viewing pleasure.

Busy Day

So Mom has been complaining about how busy it is at work lately, so I thought I'd show her what a real busy day looks like. My cousins were here from Maryland this weekend, so we all went over to Auntie Kim's and Uncle Steve's for a visit. I started off the day with a little swimming in the pool. It was still a little cold out so I had the whole thing to myself.

I worked up a hunger with all that swimming, so next on the agenda was a garage tea party with all the girls. We give Cece a run for her money when it comes to tea parties. Don't worry, we'll teach her a thing or two.

After the tea party it was straight to a golf tournament. The green was a little busy but we made it work. Dad says that golf takes some real skill, but I don't really think it's that hard. You pick up the ball and carry it over and drop it in the cup. Doesn't really need a lot of skill at all if you ask me.

We followed up the golf with even more swimming! By this time the sun was out, so everyone got in the pool, even Uncle Donald. It was awesome.

Now Mom knows what a real busy day is! I don't ever see her doing this on her way home from work! I totally win.

Family Fourth!

This weekend was the Fourth of July! I took Mom and Dad to Coronado for the day with the rest of the family. Here we all are with our awesome holiday sunglasses on. You know, just getting ready for when the real paparazzi are following us since it's obvious we are all destined to be stars. See what I did there? Man, I crack myself up.

I challenged Auntie to an olive war. She's a worthy opponent, that Auntie, but I took her down pretty easily. It may have been my trick move of stuffing both my olives in her mouth at the same time. Not so easy to come back from that one.

Here I am in Auntie's hat and glasses. Let's just be real here, people. I look way better in them than she does. I'm just being honest.

And what would the Fourth of July be without a couple of babes in bikinis?!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday, and I hope yours was as filled with chocolate chip cookies as mine was!

Activities. Lots of Activities.

Here are some miscellaneous pictures from my many adventures this week. First, here I am at the park with Dad. I bet you didn't know I was so much taller than Dad already, did you?

I also went swimming in Grandma and Grandpa's pool. I know this isn't a pool. I was at the real pool first, and then when we got home I wasn't quite ready to be out of the water, so we filled this big tub with water so I could play in there. Totally ingenious.

I also realized it's been awhile since I've given you a close-up of my toe, especially when it's all pruny from being in the pool. It's awfully cute, isn't it?

My auntie went to Hawaii this week and brought me home a ukelele. Mom and Dad were thrilled with that, Auntie. So here I am putting on a concert for my family. I'm very big on audience participation.
