Parks and Rec

I really love the summer. I especially love going to the park with Mom and Dad, and I make sure to pick activities that are as far away from any shade as possible. And the hotter it gets, the more time I like to spend outside. Mom is pretty sure I'm not her kid.

I know I've documented my love for swings on this site before, but I realized another reason why I love it so much. I get the cool breeze in my face which is really relaxing, and I get to watch Mom and Dad sweat while they push me, which is really funny. You can't beat relaxing AND funny.

Sometimes, when I get a little too warm, I'll go up to one of the many lightposts and put my face on it since the metal is nice and cool. Plus, I really just love hugging posts. What's not to love, right?

This park has these awesome musical instruments that anyone can play. I know you are all well aware of my musical talent. I usually have a tough time reaching this one, but someone took care of that for me this week! I applaud this person and their ingenuity.

I'm awesome at jumping off things, especially big rocks. You can sort of tell from the background, but sometimes this makes Dad a little nervous. I clearly have much to teach him about my awesomeness.

Look! I can totally do a handstand!

My dear friend Bear, I am so very sorry that Lexie ate your face off. I'm also very sorry that I seem to like "New Bear" even more than you. It's really just the grief talking. Thanks for all the good times, you'll be missed. At least until I forget all about you because New Bear is so awesome.

Water Baby

I'm not sure if anyone's noticed, but it's pretty hot out right now. Which means it's time to break out my pool! I get so excited to put on my bathing suit, but man alive, you should see the fit I throw when it's time to put on sunscreen. Mom is wondering if anyone knows of a sunscreen that can be applied once and last a liftime. Please get back to her on that one. But it's all worth it to get in that water.

I especially like giving performances while I'm in my pool. I'm not sure if you realize this, but I kind of like to sing a little bit. And Aunt Peggy? If you are reading this, I am totally ready for Broadway, thank you very much!

Don't worry, I made sure Lexie wasn't getting too hot either. For some reason she wasn't thrilled when I kept pouring water on her head. I really don't know why.

I'll even dunk my head under water now, sort of. I kind of do this side roll to get my hair wet without getting my face under water. It's really quite amazing how I'm able to do that, if I do say so myself.

I love the summer!

Summer Days

Well, hello! Welcome to my website! I do hope you enjoy your stay. Can I get you anything to make you more comfortable during your time here?

Sometimes the best thing to do during a warm summer day is just sit outside on the curb with Grandpa and watch the cars go by. This is my anticipation face. I hoping that maybe the next car to go by will look an awful lot like the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland.

Maybe that's the parade right down there! Or maybe it's just a person walking their dog. Hard to say. How many more hints do you think I have to drop before Mom and Dad will take me to Disneyland?

Dude, how crazy is this?! Grandpa has a nose, and I have a nose! Who knew?!

Potty Time

You might notice that I look suspiciously like I'm not wearing any pants in this picture. Mom and Dad decided to use this long holiday weekend, the one where everyone else is out having picnics and fun times, to try and start potty training me.

You would think by now they would know better than to try and make me do things on their schedule. I showed them by holding it ALL DAY. I wouldn't have an accident, but I wouldn't go in the potty either. You have to throw them a curve ball every now and then.

I really love sitting on the potty, but I just double check to make sure nothing comes out.

When I did finally go in the potty, I got some M&Ms! M&Ms make a mouth happy! What? That's Twizzlers? I beg to differ.

Apparently, singing in my underwear make me an even better singer than usual. Everyone knows that how well you sing is directly related to how loud you sing.

Water Baby

This week, Mom and Dad took me to the beach. I'm getting a bit more adventurous during my beach outings. I'll even walk in the soft part of the sand now. At least for a couple of seconds before I yell for someone to pick me up. One of my favorite things to do at the beach is to make Dad go down and fill my buckets up with water, and then yell at him the entire time he's walking down there. It makes me giggle.

It was a little windy while we were there, so I was trying to hide my face behind Dad's. It wasn't working so well.

Here I am being a swimsuit model. You can see all the seaweed that was behind me...I call this stuff "shells" and I kept making Dad move it out of my way, and by "in my way" I mean I couldn't have it within ten feet of me. He's very accomodating, that guy.

I may not be quite brave enough to go all the way into the ocean yet, but that doesn't mean I can't go in the water!

This is my audition video for Baywatch. I think I'm a shoe-in.
