This weekend was the Fourth of July! I took Mom and Dad to Coronado for the day with the rest of the family. Here we all are with our awesome holiday sunglasses on. You know, just getting ready for when the real paparazzi are following us since it's obvious we are all destined to be stars. See what I did there? Man, I crack myself up.
I challenged Auntie to an olive war. She's a worthy opponent, that Auntie, but I took her down pretty easily. It may have been my trick move of stuffing both my olives in her mouth at the same time. Not so easy to come back from that one.
Here I am in Auntie's hat and glasses. Let's just be real here, people. I look way better in them than she does. I'm just being honest.
And what would the Fourth of July be without a couple of babes in bikinis?!
I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday, and I hope yours was as filled with chocolate chip cookies as mine was!

Madison...And Happy 4th of July you little firecracker...I have to wonder who the "olive" champion really is, you or auntie. I can remember your auntie with an olive on every one of her five fingers when she was your age, munching them off one at a time. Oh well, she no doubt will share the light with you. Love and miss you!
What a fun-sunny day that was! It was a great time for all watching the next group of kids get ready to take over. You all looked great in your sun-glasses and bathing suits, chocolate covered kissers or not! You, baby girl, are certainly destined for stardom. I, for one, already think you are a star...but I can't wait to see you shine brighter and brighter as time marches on! I love you very much!
